Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:

• Utilize a range of artistic media to create artworks.
• Articulate art concepts in appropriate presentations.
• Organize, analyze, and produce research in relationship to artists and/or artworks.
• Demonstrate various formalized elements and principles, artistic genres, stylistic categories, materials and techniques, and contextual factors in art teaching circumstances.

For students gaining teaching licensure in a content major, the following minor leads to endorsement. All students desiring licensure to teach are required to file an Application for Admission to the Educator Preparation Program.
