Addiction Counseling Education Certificate *Program placed on moratorium*

The Certificate in Addiction Counseling Education (CACE) is documentation for potential employers that a student has obtained supplementary education beyond their degree in the field of addiction studies.  Since addictions are part of every agency caseload, this is essential knowledge for counselors in the field and is valued by supervisors in the field of human services.

Additionally, the Certificate for Addiction Counseling Education is documentation that the student has completed several courses (though not all) that can be counted toward the education component of the Montana Licensed Addiction Counseling credential.  For information about specific degree requirements, log onto the Montana Licensed Addiction Counseling website: boards.bsd.dli.mt.gov/bbh

Please contact the Department of Rehabilitation and Human Services for additional information.
